The Ministry of Food and Agriculture on behalf of Government of Ghana and in collaboration with Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), NEPAD and other organizations is organizing a roundtable conference on the Comprehensive African Agriculture Development Programme from October 27th to 28th in Accra, Ghana.
Airfare and daily subsistence allowance:
Delegates are responsible for their airfare and daily subsistence.
Entry formalities/Airport reception:
Citizens from African Countries member of ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) do not need an entry visa for Ghana.
Citizens of all other Nationals need a visa and may obtain it at the Ghana embassy in their countries or may obtain a visa upon entry at the immigration at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra. The visa fee at the airport is $100.
Arrangements have been made for vehicles to convey delegates to their hotels. Please inform contacts below, of your flight details including airline, date and time of arrival.

Accommodations
It is up to each participant to choose a hotel to reside during the course of the conference. However, Mirage Royale Hotel has been blocked for this conference and delegates can contact the hotel for reservations. Mirage Royale is a 3 star hotel located at East legon in Accra. The hotel can also link you up with other hotels of same standard in the area.

The meeting will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre
Official Languages
The official languages of the conference will be French and English. A simultaneous translation will be offered.
Meals:
Lunch and snack breaks per day will be offered to delegates who should make their own arrangements for other meals (breakfast and dinner).
Health
A yellow fever vaccination is a requirement for entry to Ghana if coming from an infected area, but all travelers should be vaccinated against yellow fever as a precaution. It is also recommended that travelers be vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B. Also remember that Ghana is in the malarial zone and prophylactics should be taken as a precaution. Please take measures to avoid mosquito bites, such as using an insect repellent at all times.

The weather in October is relatively hot, with temperatures staying around 33 °C.
